Today was an amazing day! I began by recording new vocals for my new single. I had finished the song and sent it for mastering, but something didn’t feel right. After a while, I realized it was the vocals. I started focusing more on them, took singing lessons, and eventually figured out that I needed to pitch the song up. While singing it to my vocal coach, we both realized it would sound much better if I raised the pitch. So, I tried it this morning, and it was way better!
Then, I went to Utrecht for a photoshoot with Lilian. For my concert at Ekko, I wanted to promote the tickets with the right vibe—like a queer club night. So, I reached out to a gay club in Utrecht and asked if we could do a photoshoot there. They welcomed us with open arms at Club Bodytalk! We started shooting, and it was amazing! I had so many outfits and props, and everything just fit perfectly.
While cycling to the train station with all my stuff, I felt a bit down, wondering why I always bring so much. But once we got to the shoot, everything came together! I also expanded my network with potential new collaborations. The photos turned out incredible, and Lilian—if you’re reading this—you’re absolutely amazing at your craft! I love working with you!
What I enjoyed most was the creative process itself. I never know for sure if my ideas will work. I have a goal, a vibe in mind, props, and outfits, but once we’re there, we just freestyle and figure it out as we go. That feeling is incredible—not knowing exactly what will happen but trusting that we’ll make it work and have fun. Falling, learning, and growing!
I also contacted Ekko, and they’ll send me the ticket link tomorrow. OMG—the ticket link! Everything is coming together. I also had some insights about my life and what I love to do: working hard toward a goal, not to impress people, but simply because I love it. So, next year—a little tour in Europe!
Today was a super fun and amazing day! I learned a lot and gained new insights.
