New day!
It’s been really hard to get in touch with the head of the venue I want to play at. I’ve sent emails, called, and even sent letters, but still no response. Today, I called and found out he works on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I’ll try again tomorrow. Fingers crossed!
Today, I worked on vocals for two songs, and I’m really happy with how they’re turning out! I also collaborated with my followers on social media, and it was a huge success. One person will say a line in a new song, and others are recording sounds that I’ll include in the track. I’m really excited about how it’s all coming together!
I also got some feedback from a friend on my marketing plan, which was so helpful. His suggestions were amazing! Another friend gave me feedback on a mix, and his input is always so good. I’m really grateful to have people I can turn to for feedback—it truly makes my songs and mixes so much better.
Today, I also started working on my podcast and YouTube video idea. Honestly, it failed—haha. My original plan was to record myself talking about what I do each week and post it as a podcast and YouTube video. But when I edited the video, it felt too random. So, I came up with a new idea: I’ll focus on specific topics that new artists have to tackle. Recording myself was weird at first, and editing was tricky, but I pushed through!
Now, I’m brainstorming ideas for an upcoming photoshoot and thinking about the theme we want to achieve. I’m also super excited to post a cool photo on Instagram tomorrow. Oh, and I just unpacked some clothes I ordered for another photoshoot this week—I can’t wait to use them!
It’s been another productive day. Let’s see what tomorrow brings!
